When I ran out of my beloved Kat Von D, Lock-it crème concealer, I decided to try a new concealer. It wasn’t an easy decision to make, because I was scared of being disappointed, but after some research, I chose to try the CoverFX cream concealer.

I have tried a couple of products from the brand in the past and have liked them. I love that CoverFX is cruelty-free of course, and that all of their products (except 2 lip products) are vegan!

This concealer comes in a squeeze tube which is not my favorite, but at least the hole is small, so it dispenses a small amount of product at a time, and I don’t waste it. I apply the amount needed on the back of my hand, and then dip a brush in it and apply. I love it to carve my brows, and use on my eyelids to get an even canvas.

I also use it under my eyes, of course, and it works well, but I don’t love it quite as much as the Kat Von D’s. It is on the thicker side, which I don’t mind, but I had to find the correct amount to use when I first started using it. You really don’t need a lot, which is nice.

It is a nice concealer, and definitely something I’ll keep in mind for the future, but not my all time favorite.

Have you tried it? Did you like it?
