Highlighters are probably my favorite face makeup item. I could go without bronzer, blush, and probably even foundation, but please, give me some glow!

Although I have colors that I love, and use on a regular basis, the E.L.F Apricot Glow was very tempting. It’s a very pretty and easy to wear color. As you probably figured it out it has a peachy (apricot-y?) tint, but it’s not orange at all, it’s mostly gold, and I really love it.

I’ve heard online that when you first get these baked products, they’re pretty dry, and don’t have a lot of color payoff. Mine fell on the floor, shattering the dome part soon after I first got it, so it did what is ‘recommended’ to get more payoff, it got rid of the top layer. To me that’s not a deal breaker at all. It’s a drugstore product, so if I have to do a tiny thing that takes a couple seconds (scrape, don’t break) I’m not mad.

I really like this baked highlighter, I would definitely recommend it to friends, and would probably repurchase it, or even try other shades.
